SHIPPING

Our products usually ship within 7-10 business days from the day your order is received.  Occasionally delays beyond our control may occur. However these delays should not be considered grounds for cancellation of an order. In the event of a delay you will immediately be notified by our customer service representative so as to minimize any inconvenience to you.

MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS
Since each product is custom made and shipped upon completion, you may receive multiple shipments depending on the nature of your order. Multiple items of the same product will ship together.

SHIPPING TYPE AND CHARGES                                                  
A)  We offer free shipping via United Parcel Service(UPS) and/or FedEx within the 48 contiguous United States. As long as the product(s) you order are less than 96" wide.If your package is too large to ship by UPS or FedEx, we will ship it FOB the manufacturer's facility via freight carrier, usually to your front door. The products usually ship in 1-7 business days depending on location.

C) SHIPPING OUTSIDE CONTINENTAL U.S.
We ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. Shipping charges: 15% of merchandise total ($75 minimum). Please note: oversized products (larger than 96" wide) are not covered under warranty when shipping to these locations.  Rush shipping is only available by special request.  Duties and taxes are not included when shipping to Canada.

4WINDOW.COM does not guarantee that your order will be shipped in the stated time frame if the failure to ship on time is the result of an Act of God (e.g., fire, flood, inclement weather, epidemic, or earthquake); war or act of terrorism, including chemical or biological warfare; labor dispute, lockout, strike, embargo; governmental acts, orders, or restrictions; failure of suppliers or third persons; or any other reason where failure to ship the order on time is beyond the reasonable control of 4window.com.

PAYMENT POLICY:

RETURN POLICY

1. Measuring - Since all of our window treatments are custom made we exercise the utmost care in precisely recording the measurements you provide so that the finished product fits your exact specifications. Window treatments thus made cannot be returned. If you have any questions concerning your measurements please call our service department or consult a local professional installer.

2. Color- Before placing any order, particularly where color accuracy is critical we urge you to order the available color samples to assure a precise color match.  Since computer monitors vary in their ability to accurately display colors both on our website or your monitor, and since manufacturer dye lots may vary at times it is strongly recommended that samples be obtained before any order is finalized. Even so slight variations may occur and are no cause for alarm. We will gladly replace any product that is the wrong color or where the variation is so significant as to render it unusable. The management reserves the right to make this determination. It is also recommended that when ordering a number of window treatments of the same color that the entire order be placed at the same time to assure maximum uniformity.  

3. Cancellations- Orders to manufacturers are usually placed within minutes of the time we receive them so that your order can be promptly processed. In most situations it is therefore impossible to cancel an order once production has begun.

4. Backorders and Discontinued Products - We strive to process your order as promptly as possible and to ensure an adequate supply of inventory . There are however situations beyond our control when products are discontinued or backordered. In such cases we will notify you as soon as possible for a new course of action.

5. Returns – If a return should be necessary please contact us before returning merchandise to authorize the return and make proper arrangements. The return authorization number is required for proper shipping, tracking and handling of the return. Any item returned without a return authorization number will be refused.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Because our products are custom made to your exact specifications, they are no longer suitable for resale. Therefore, it is very important that you are certain of your purchase decisions prior to finalizing your order. When your online order is placed with us, your credit card is automatically charged for the total price of the merchandise including shipping. Unless there is some delay in placing your order (e.g. need for some missing additional information ), an order received from you for in stock materials before 4 P.M. Eastern Standard Time will normally begin production the morning of the following day. 

Cancellations and Changes in orders can only be made for a period of 12 hours after your online order is finalized. All cancellations and changes effected during this 12 hour period will be subject to a manufacturer's restocking charge( where applicable), and a 4window.com 5% administrative charge. In the event that you cancel your order during this 12 hour period, 4window.com will refund your money minus the manufacturer's restocking charge, where applicable, and the 4window.com 5% administrative charge. Under no circumstance will 4window.com either refund any money or issue any credits for a credit card purchase if the cancellation or change occurs at any time beyond this 12 hour period.

On extremely rare occasions there may be delays caused by out-of-stock materials, shipping delays, temporary factory overload, holidays, or other factors beyond the control of 4window.com and its associates. In the event of a known delay, when the manufacturer contacts us you will be contacted that day. 4window.com reserves the right to reject any order, at its discretion.

OUR LOW PRICE GUARANTEE:

4window.com offers a low price guarantee on any brand name product you purchase from us (excluding the 4window.com brand) for up to 14 days after your place your order. Place an order with 4window.com and if you find the same item you purchased from us at another retailer (online, catalog, department store or home center) for less, we will adjust your purchase price to the competitor's price provided it is not below our cost.

To qualify, simply go to :
support@4window.com or fax(1 800.414.1042)  us proof of the lower price from a competitor's website  (copy of the competitor's shopping cart including the item, any options, order processing charges, shipping charges and any other charges or the exact Web site address - URL). For offline vendors, a quote on the merchant's letterhead may qualify. Also please include your order information, order number and your contact information.

As soon as we verify the lower price, we will cheerfully send you your rebate .
